Purchase: Bought from Rod's for approximately $65.
Likes: My horse had cribbed so habitually that he wore his teeth below the gum line. (Ouch!)Nutcracker collar left sores and did not stop him from cribbing. Miracle collar left sores and did not stop him from cribbing. Dare collar....Well, it is one year later and the collar has not left a mark on him and when he wears it he cannot crib. Better yet, after 3 months of wearing it he doesn't even fret or attempt to crib while wearing it! Success
Dislikes: It is kinda big, but not unnecessarily. You do have to make it snug for those horses that are dedicated, chronic cribbers.
Quality: It is thick soft leather with heavy duty roller buckles. Very sturdy and well made.
Summary: Nothing else worked completely and everything else left marks and open sores on my horse with use. The Dare collar has freed my horse from his torment and he can now relax lazily in his stall and be turned out without cribbing! Love this product, even one year later.
