Manufacturer: Western Rawhide
Model: Kelso Saddle with Semi Quarter Horse Bars
Category: Show Saddles
Purchase: I found this saddle at a private tack shop for about a $1000 brand new. I was looking for a new show saddle at the time and did not want to spend $5000 for a saddle I would only use eight to ten times a year.
Likes: I like about this saddle is it looks great! It has wonder foral tooling, silver corner plates, silver conchos, and silver billet plates all of which are montana silver and it also has rawhide lacing on the cantle. Very attractive saddle. I also like the padded seat and the leather is very high quality. Sits you very correct, great for horsemanship classes!
Quality: Leather is very good quality and silver is high quality as well.
Summary: Over all is a very well put together saddle and I wouldn't hesitate to buy another. The only thing I wish is that western rawhide would make more saddles with silver, but I find there is always room to add more silver.
Usefulness Rating: 2.28571 out of 5.
