Purchase: I bought this saddle on Ebay, but I had looked at their website (www.dixielandgaitedsaddles.com) many times. I noticed Dixieland had a saddle on Ebay that was everything I wanted in a custom saddle, so I purchased it in an auction instead of a custom order. I paid $999 plus shipping for this saddle.
Likes: This saddle is gorgeous!!! The leather is so soft and supple. The craftsmanship is amazing! You can tell this saddle was built with love and care to every detail. It's not too heavy or bulky and has a close contact fit. The seat is super comfortable, too, so it's great for trail riding. My horse loves the saddle, too!
Dislikes:
Quality: Once I received the saddle I was amazed at the craftsmanship. This saddle has the craftsmanship of a very high dollar saddle, but is very reasonably priced.
Summary: I love Dixieland Gaited Saddles! I would recommend to anyone wanting to purchase a new saddle for trail or show.
