Purchase: I purchased these field boots for around $250 at The Paddock Inc. tack shop. I was looking for a good pair of field boots for showing.
Likes: The leather quality of these boots is very good and broke in nicely. The boots are extremely comfortable and I don't get blisters or rubs even when walking around all day at a show. I've had these boots for a little over two years; I wear them every day for riding and they are in great condition and show little wear.
Dislikes: For the most part these boots fit me perfectly. The only complaint I have is that there is some excess room around the ankle. This could be because they were a little tall when I bought them and now they have dropped to the right height so the excess leather is around the ankle. It's not terribly bothersome, but it doesn't look as "finished" as I would like.
Quality: The leather on these boots is good quality and is nice and soft once it is broken in. Overall they are well-made and fit well. The foot bed is also very comfortable.
Summary: For the price, these boots are a great buy. I've had them for over two years and I don't expect to have to replace them anytime soon. They're comfortable even when I'm walking around all day at shows. They fit great and look nice.
