Purchase: I purchased a pair of SMB II boots at a booth at Quarter Horse Congress 4 years ago and they have worked great.
Likes: I love how these boots protect all the way around the leg, not just the splints like splint boots do. They also have some support for the suspensory ligaments. These boots have held up to regular arena use very well. I always hose mine off after each use and they still look very close to new.
Dislikes: Arena dirt does manage to find its way into the boot, especially if you have them on the rear legs and are doing a lot of hard stops.
Quality: These boots are put together very well and will really last if they are taken care of. The velcro tabs are wide and help provide a secure fit around the leg.
Summary: These are nice boots for show and daily use. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for more leg protection than a splint boot offers.
