Purchase: I bought these boots on sale for $129.99 from National Roper's Supply's website, nrsworld.com. My boots were beginning to show their age, and I wanted to try a taller top since we have a lot of sand burrs, mesquites, and other assorted sharp and prickly plants that like to poke through your pants when you're afoot.
Likes: I love these boots. They are incredibly comfortable to ride in. They have a single welt and a riding heel with a spur ledge and are the best boots I have found to use with oxbow stirrups. I really like how I can get my foot securely into the oxbow with no worry of hanging up in it.
Dislikes: These boots seems to run a bit big. I usually wear an 11B and I can get by in a 10B in these boots. I ordered a pair for my husband too. He wears a 10.5D in other western boots, but he said the 10.5D in the Tony Lama 3R felt a bit long. He got used to them though and they don't give him any problems.
Quality: The are super nice boots, the stitching on the tops is really pretty, and I love that they seem to make my big feet look smaller than they are. The insoles are very comfortable and they are removable for washing.
Summary: These are nice, ranch-tough boots with a handmade look but not the handmade price. They broke in nicely, and I will be getting another pair for a dress pair soon.
