Purchase: I purchased a custom made Pro Rider saddle last spring, I have a friend who has used them for approx. 10 years, couldn't be happier. This saddle takes a beating from starting colts, to 4- 5 head a day!, I owned a double J the original Charmayne, That was a piece of crap, and when the tree broke??? The dealer and manufacturer, refused to stand behind the warranty, when I decided to have my saddle person contact the head of double J on my behalf?. Instantly the dealer wanted to buy it back, and I know the saddle has since been resold, without being repaired. My point being, there isn't a manufacturer out there that will stand behind what they build after it leaves their sight, DO ya blame them?for the price,712.00, delivered to my door? I'll never purchase another big name brand of saddle as long as the Bethune family makes Pro Riders!
Likes: It's lighter than the new barrel saddles and it has a tree, a rawhide tree. I've been asked more about the saddle after someone rides it, than any other saddle I've ever owned
Dislikes: they wont make it with a round skirt
