Purchase: Purchased from the local saddlery in Lilydale, Victoria, Australia. Cost about $2500au.
Likes: I've owned this saddle for almost 2 years & am loving it more & more! Showing practically nil signs of wear. I just give it a quick wipe with damp cloth occasionally & it's good as new. THE MOST comfortable (soft) seat I've ever ridden in (I've ridden in lots of different brands). Saddle was comfy from first day. Couldn't prise the German lass who was riding one of my horses out of it! She has an Albion at home. My balance & effective position often receive favourable comments. Love the close contact of the thinner panels under my thighs(I'm light weight). Fits my 3 horses well & they all love it.
Dislikes: Would prefer old style centre vertical girth billets. I altered the extreme Y girth billets (under knee block & extreme rear of saddle) to a centre vertical position, and would prefer them a little further apart but saddler advised that the tree construction prevented this, however the horses are happy.
Quality: Very good quality leather which is 'wearing' remarkably well(no signs of wear). Beechwood tree. Stirrup bars in normal position. Advertised as medium depth seat but I find it feels VERY secure. Quite big knee rolls which don't interfere with leg position AT ALL but are handy when horses squirrel.
Summary: Wonderful comfy great wearing saddle, gives rider great position/balance and suits my 3 horses very well.
