Purchase: I purchased these stirrups from Hill View Farms (hillviewfarms.com) because they are both a safety stirrup, and they are turned so that the stirrup faces perpendicular to the horse. My knees have always bothered me when I ride and I was hoping this would help. I paid $45 for them, which is affordable compared to the $200 MDC flex stirrups!!
Likes: EVERYTHING! They are very good looking, strong and well made. The real difference was when I rode, though!! No more knee pain, my ankles and back never felt strain, and it felt SO much more natural and easy like this!!! It just seems like all stirrups should be made this way. Had I known they were out there, I would never have ridden in anything else. I recommend these to everyone, and I am big on proper riding position, and if anything I felt these helped. I felt much safer, too, when I do fall.
Dislikes: There isn't a western version! Lol nothing they can do for that, though!
Quality: Exceptional quality. The pads were slightly warped when they arrived, but have since flattened.
Summary: Very simply, Grab yourself a pair...or two! Best $45 I've ever spent.
