Purchase: I bought these boots at Sterling Meadows Tack Store in Virginia Beach for $119.00. I have tall winter boots, but needed a pair of warm and waterproof paddock boots that zipped instead of laced for easier removal from the stirrup.
Likes: I loved these boots the minute I put them on! I have about eight pair of various types of Ariat boots, including western styles, and love them all. The zippers on these boots are sturdy, but they open and closed very smoothly. I don't think they'll break easily, like less expensive brands I've tried. The leather is dense but soft, the insulation is warm, and the neoprene top and pull loop makes putting them on super easy.
Dislikes: Not one thing!
Quality: Extremely well made, as are all my other Ariats. The leather feels like it's been lightly oiled, but it's soft and smooth. The heel height is perfect, and has a spur ridge.
Summary: I would buy these again, but I don't think I'll ever have to. I definitely recommend them to anyone needing insulated paddock boots!
