Purchase: I needed a new saddle and because I live in Alaska where we don't get to ride all year round, I wanted something that wasn't going to keep me from doing repairs to my Igloo! I bought it from Greenway Saddlery in Arizona and paid $1095.00 for the saddle!
Likes: So far, I LOVE this saddle. The leather is a great quality and has the sticky, already 'broken in' feel to it! The Medium gullet appears to be quite generous and fits both my Quarter Horse and my Appendix who is very T'breddy! The colour is a nice, rich chocolate brown which I like. When I sat in it, it felt like it was made specifically for my behind! Very comfy and soft! The little bit of tooling around in it I did, since it was about -10, it felt secure and my leg was in the proper place. I hopped over a few Eskimos and it felt like it would be a good jumping saddle!
Dislikes: Haven't found one thing I did not like about it...yet!!
Quality: Excellent! Soft, very grippy, tacky leather. The stitching is lovely and the saddle looks to be of the same quality of the ancient Antares I had!
Summary: I think this saddle is a sleeper! The folks at Greenway Saddlery were great in helping me pick out this new model of the Toulouse saddles and I wish Spring would hurry up and get here so I can ride some more!!
