Purchase: I got this bridle as a gift when my horse was ready for work in the double bridle from my mother. She said you only need one double bridle, so you should spend the extra money and get something really nice.
Likes: Everything. It has a perfect design that allows each head piece to act independently, and does not appear bulky or messy on the head like some doubles can. It it very well padded at the poll and noseband. The standard noseband was wide and padded enough for my horse, but you can also elect to get a crank or a drop noseband (for the snaffle version) made specifically to match this bridle.
Dislikes: It is quite expensive, but like my mother reasoned, you'll only ever need one.
Quality: The leather is uniform and lovely. The stitching is perfect and beautiful, but also adds form and strength to each piece. (Each piece of the bridle is stitched on both sides, very unique!) The reins are stitched on both sides to match the bridle, and the snaffle reign is lined with nubuck which is just a little more grippy than plain leather, a nice way to keep soft yet steady contact on a hot summer day.
Summary: Buy it, you'll be glad you did!
