Purchase: I purchased this tube of Stubben Hamanol from Hitching Post Tack Shop in Middletown, KY where I normally purchase all of my horse supplies. I paid $11.95 for a 8.8 oz tube. I own all Stubben Tack ((set aside from 1 Courbette standing martingale lol)) and this was reccomended on the tags when I purchased the tack to help condition it. So I purchased Hamanol to see how it worked as a conditioner/dressing for my leathergoods.

Likes: Wow! This dressing worked WONDERFULLY! I am very pleased with it. It is a soft, paste-like form that when rubbed in, leaves the leather soft and with a high-shine, brand new look! It also helps to blend in scratches and blemishes, which are common on my seat, cantle, and flaps. The Hamanol is not greasy or sticky - a quality hard to find in Conditioners. It is also non-darkening, unlike Neatsfoote Oil. It also will not rot stitching, which is a danger in using other conditioners and dressings. I really am pleased with the Stubben Hamanol Leather Dressing.

Dislikes: The smell isnt that pleasant, which is common in tack cleaning products. But overall - I really like Hamanol the best out of all conditioners I have used. It is a little pricey, but not as expensive as Leather Therapy or some other conditioners, and I think its better!

Quality: A soft, easy to use squeezable paste form conditioner in an 8.8oz. (250gr.) attractive and convenient upright tube. Just apply to a sponge or cloth, apply a small amount, wait for it to dry (( a few minutes or so)) and then polish or run it into the leather for a nice, shiny look. Conditions and Polishes leather to a butter soft, new looking condition.

Summary: The best Tack Conditioner/Dressing I have ever used! Won't ever use another kind again!
