Purchase: I contacted Out West Saddlery at their 800 number to have them make a good quality headstall I could use for local showing. I was tired of the cheap cardboard made in India crap that does not last and could be dangerous if it breaks while on the horse, causing an accident. The headstall was just under $200.
Likes: Good looking headstall that will go well with just about any western discipline. I sent in the conchos I already had for them to use and they did a nice job of making the headstall look good with the conchos.
Dislikes: Nothing. I wish I could have afforded their conchos but that would have brought the price to over $300.
Quality: The headstall is nicely stitched. The leather is quality and it was made in America.
Summary: If you want a good experience with some nice people and good quality western merchandise I highly recommend Out West Saddlery. They have a website with photos of their products and will work with you to get it made right!!!
