Purchase: Purchased new on Ebay for $56. Retail is normally around $80.
Likes: Everything! The leather is beautiful, baby soft, pliable, rich, and expensive feeling. The brass hardware is perfect. Mine is black with hot pink padding, and is absolutely stunning on my dark bay horse. It is a COB size, and whatdoyaknow - it ACTUALLY fits my Arab. Many COB sized halters "sort of" fit but have at least one area that pinches or is too small. This one fits throughout.
Dislikes: If I had to find something, it would be that in one place the stitching ran off the edge of the padding instead of maintaining a straight line. But - this might be why this lady was selling them cheap on Ebay. They might have been "seconds" that she got for a steal, so in no way would I consider it to be a problem.
Quality: Construction and quality are superb!
Summary: Bottom line is that I would buy more of these without giving it a second thought.
