Purchase: I bought this saddle about 8 years ago from State line tack for about $1200. I really wanted a saddle that could be used for flat and jumping as well as trail riding. It is the 16.5 seat med tree.
Likes: I really like the leather on this saddle. It was made in europe before they started to be made out of the not so nice leather. Kinda like what happened to pessoa. It is very comfortable, even if you are in it all day. It puts my leg in a good position for flat and jumping. It has definitely been a good saddle for all phases of eventing up to about training. Even after all that use, you cant tell. The billet still look almost new and its ready for a show with a little bit of cleaning
Dislikes: The only problem I have had is that even though the flap is forward, I am very long from hip to knee and my knees stick out when I shorten the stirrup for jumping. Other than that I love it
Quality: It is really good quality leather and the stitching still looks brand new. Tree and billets are still very sound. The leather didn't even change when it got soaked riding in the rain!
Summary: I really recommend this saddle to someone who wants a good all purpose, lower level event saddle. It is definitely worth it.
