Purchase: I bought this pad from a local tack shop last year for $170. It was incredibly soft and just what I needed for shows and to adjust the fit of my saddle to the various horses I ride.
Likes: I love how many different horses this pad helps fit. It can be used with or without the memory foam inserts, which allows my saddle to fit a bunch of different horses by just taking out or putting in the inserts. It's like having a wither pad, riser, simple half pad, and show pad all in one!
Dislikes: When I washed this pad, it started to fray along the back sheepskin roll and definitely was not as soft as when I first bought it. It did look really clean though!
Quality: Besides the slight fraying I experienced with it after washing, this pad holds up really well! The sheepskin is great quality and provides a great cushion for the saddle and horse's back.
Summary: I would definitely buy this pad again and recommend it to anyone needing a great half pad. One word of caution is to always use Leather Therapy or Melp to wash it. Never use regular detergent since that will ruin the sheepskin.
