Purchase: A friend of my mom's gave the saddle to her. It was probably a late '80s model...?
Likes: It's a very durable saddle, made of decent materials. It lasted me many years of use and abuse. It was pretty good for riding on a rainy day, but I rode in it for years until I realized how nice some other saddles were. :)
Dislikes: The seat was extremely hard and the flaps put your legs in a very awkward place. It was extremely uncomfortable to ride in for any length of time. It made my knees poke off the sides and made my toes point way out. The horses didn't seem to comfortable in it, either.
Quality: Well made and durable, made of good quality.
Summary: I know of some people who really like the Marshall, and I have no problem with most other, newer Courbettes - but this older model did not agree with me.
