Purchase: I purchased this at a local feed supply outlet in Ontario, Canada. I bought it as a Christmas present for my horse. Our horses are turned in for longer periods of time over the winter, so I thought it would entertain him while indoors. I paid $50 for holder, and $5ea for inserts.
Likes: It is really well made. It moves smoothly. There are many flavours to choose from for the inserts.
Dislikes: Inserts are hard to remove once they are empty.

Summary: Unfortunately, my horse likes this too much, and actually chews the plastic as well of the candy insert. He didn't read the instructions that said " LICK IT"!!! The treat that should last over a month, lasted only 24 hours...and he didn't have any problem getting the plastic inserts out! I was worried he'd cut his mouth or tongue, so I won't refill it. And NO, he's not a cribber, but tends to smell things first, then nibble. I'd recommend potential buyers to test their horses with the insert first. If they lick it, then their horse may use it properly.
