Purchase: I brought this saddle used and paid 3800.00USD. Ive owned Hennigs before the classic and was pleased with it and I heard the Sofa was even better. So I splurged.
Likes: Yes it is better than the Classic I could not believe the way it feels so comfortable but very secure and you can still feel the horses every move. The saddle wears so well. They are so well made and durable. Warning NEVER ride in one if you don't want to spend the cash because you will not be able to stop yourself.
Dislikes: I hate paying that much for a used saddle. The price of a new one is really over my pain level. But Ive never seen a better made saddle. My riding and my horses movement really is better with the hennig.
Quality: Everything about this saddle is first rate as it should be for the price. The saddle does not disappoint. It has really saved my bacon many times on my young big moving cheeky babies.
Summary: The bottom line is I love this saddle and Ive ridden in a lot of other makers saddles (I'm ancient) but this is a different level of saddle.
When things are going well and my horse is moving big and supple this saddle helps me keep my position and stay out of my horses way. When things go crazy the deep seat and positioning of the blocks help me keep my position and my seat. Everyone who Ive let sit in my saddle has loved it some are now riding in their own used Hennigs!
