Purchase: I got this saddle pad from Dover Saddlery for a promotional price of $99.90, which compared to other pads such as Thinline is a steal.
Likes: I LIKE EVERYTHING ABOUT THIS SADDLE PAD! PRICE! LOOKS! FEEL! This half pad is the best half pad I've ever owned.
Dislikes: I DON'T DISLIKE ANYTHING! IT IS PERFECT!
If I do have to say one thing that is negative, this saddle pad has to be washed in a special detergent and rinse made my Leather Therapy. I ordered these products on SmartPak.com for around $27.00 which included shipping. The bottles are about 20oz. each. Not bad at all and well worth it to keep your half pad brand new!
Quality: This half-pad is stunningly gorgeous and the softest most wonderful thing I've ever felt. I almost didn't want use it on my horse so much as I wanted to take a nap with it, it's that soft. I love it so much. Not only is this pad fashion forward, its technology is un-parallel. It is designed to absorb shock and use the heat radiated from your horse's back to allow your horse's muscle to be loose and used most efficiently to get the best ride possible.
Summary: In summary, this saddle pad has changed the way I ride. I didn't think something underneath my saddle could make such a difference but it has. I can feel it. It absorbs all the shock and even allows me to sit deeper in the saddle with out discomfort and really use my seat bones most effectively.
I also love that this pad is designed with my horse's health and back in mind.
Buy this saddle pad! It's worth the money. You'll thank me and your horse will thank you! It's perfect for show or just every day riding! Make your friends jealous and your friend's horses jealous!
