Purchase: I bought this helmet online for $69.95 after pining over it for some time.
Likes: I liked the look and the feel of this helmet...on paper. The finish and padding was all very nice.
Dislikes: From the moment I saw it in person I didn't see anything 'low profile' about this helmet. It made me look like I was wearing a fishbowl on my head. The flip fold system gave me little options and the GPSIII really did nothing at all to adjust the fit of the helmet. I wear a 7 1/8 and the size I ordered should have fit my head but it was too snug with the liner in. When I took the liner out it was way too big and the GPSIII did nothing to make it fit any better. I ended up returning it.
Quality: The helmet its self seems to be well constructed and I imagine if it fit that the padding inside would be very comfortable. The GPSIII system was flimsy at best and I imagine that it would break fairly quickly. The rest of the helmet, however, seemed to be well made.
Summary: I say make your own decision about this helmet. I'm not sure I would buy another one given that the GPSIII was so flimsy. If the helmet fits without it then it's a great helmet. Otherwise, don't waste your money.
