Sit Tight N' Warm Full Seat Breeches
English Show Apparel

Manufacturer: Kerrits
Model: Sit Tight N' Warm Full Seat Breeches
Category: English Show Apparel

Purchase: I bought these through Dover. They were on sale for about $90. I'm an avid FITS customer with 2 pair of their winter breeches. Needed another pair but didn't want to spend as much. Was open to trying these, especially based on the various reviews I read.

Likes: They stick, and I mean stick. If I'm doing no-stirrups work, I like to wear these. No-stirrups work can mean some rubbing in sensitive places if the breeches seams are bulky, but these are not. I was concerned in trying them, as that's one of the reasons that I'm a FITS convert; but these are good. I'm long legged, 5'7" 125 lbs, and went w/ the medium. They fit fine, but I'm almost thinking of buying a Large next time so they're looser. For winter breeches, the tighter they are, the more you're squeezing out the precious air that's giving insulation. For warmth, they're ok. Maybe a wee bit less warm than my FITS winter breeches, but this winter has been a ----(well, you know) and nothing is going to be "warm". I like the material more than the Equissential winter breeches that I had.

Dislikes: Despite riding in temps between 5 and 20, I can actually work up some perspiration. The synthetic full seat doesn't breathe as well as leather. Some reviewers (not necessarily at this site) noted that the breeches squeaked and immediately returned them. Yes, on first wearing they do squeak, but after a wearing and washing, they're fine.

Quality: Construction and quality seem to be fine. My judge on quality is how there are after 6+ months of wearing and washing. I've washed them about 5 times so far and they're doing fine. They air dry essentially overnight.

Summary: I'm a total FITS breeches convert who swore to never buy any other breeches. But these work fine and are a good buy for a very reasonable price. I like them for both dressage and jumping
