Purchase: I bought this pad from a local tack store for around $44. Black on one side and white on the other.
Likes: Its FLUFfY! I swear it must feel like the saddle is sitting on a pillowtop mattress to the horse. Extreamly cushy! My horse has no complaints about it. There really isent anything bad to say about this pad.
Dislikes: The only complaint I do have about this pad, is that because its so cushy and thick you can use this saddle pad AND a half pad. You can use a simple foam riser, but not a sheepskin half pad, its just way to thick and my horse did not like when both were used at the same time.
Quality: Very good construction, have no complaints about it riping or stiching comming out, very good overall.
Summary: I would reccomend this pad for somebody who needs thickness to their saddle. If you find a sheepskin pad to expensive, then I would reccomend this pad as a cheaper alternitive. It cant measure up to a $200 sheepskin pad, but will definatly do a similar job of giving the horse cushing under the saddle.
