Purchase: Purchased through The Lexington Horse , Online -Blue version on sale. Purchased as an attractive lighter weight turnout rug for my 15.1 hh warmblood mare. Eventually used on 2 thoroughbreds.
Likes: Attractive colour and pattern. I liked the removable tail guard.
Dislikes: HUGE dissapointment because it has frayed at the seams where the diamond colour blocks are inserted, it rubs at the shoulders despite being the perfect size for my horsees BUT worst of all it leaks, it does NOT breath as advertised and all horses I have tried it on (well built warmblood and skinny OTTB)have sweated up to a lather in it even in 9-19 degree weather.
Quality: Looks well constructed has no back seam (only side seams as mentioned above)and has shoulder gussets but in less than a month of owning it one leg strap clasp broke somehow.Rips appeared in fabric. By month four of only occasional use when absalutly nessesary seams have frayed. Had to stop using on my warmblood because it was clearly uncomfortable for her...she would layher ears back at this rug when I tried to put it on.
Summary: Whole bunch of toff and no substance.
