Purchase: I got my saddle from my riding instructor gently used, I purchased the saddle with everything except a saddle pad for $1200.00 canadian, I believe she bought this saddle for $1450.00 brand new at a local tack shop. I acquired this saddle because of it being so difficult to find an english saddle that fits a Halter bred paint horse, and then to turn around and use it with a very TB looking quarter horse, and being that it was ridiculous to purchase 2 saddles, I bought a convertible. I also had a hard time finding a saddle that kept my equitation nice, and fit my plus size frame.

Likes: I like the textured seat that allows me to stick to the seat which is useful in APHA hunter under saddle, and equitation. The unique stitching that contrasts with the saddle gave the saddle a showy look while also letting the consumer visibly see any flaws (which I saw none). The vibrant interchangeable gullets cannot be seen when your riding. All the leather is high quality, and the dark havanna color is gorgeous. All in all its a very nice saddle.

Dislikes: The only issue I really have had with this saddle is that it is very hard to find a matching bridle. The unique stitching plus the havanna color is hard to find in a fancy stitch, non padded full horse bridle. Also, this is more for consumers to read, is be very careful when changing the gullets, as the student who used this saddle before I purchased it stripped one of the screws in the saddle causing me grief and alot of patience when I need to change the gullets.

Quality: unique stitching, sturdy saddle, top quality close contact, no buffalo leather, supple leather, no irregular dye marks on the leather, quality velcro was used, good quality, top notch.

Summary: its a good saddle for its money, although its a bit steep in price, I believe its worth the price, I have yet to find a actual problem with the saddle that was done by manufacturer default.
