Dressage Saddles
Manufacturer: Ascot
Model: Commander
Category: Dressage Saddles
Purchase: I bought this saddle for about $200 as a 'buy it now' from ebay. This included all fittings and a bridle. I bought it so that I could have a second saddle.
Likes: The quality of the saddle is decent. It's quite comfortable to sit in and fit my horse well.
Dislikes: The billets are unbelievably stiff and hard to use at first. And, though this doesn't affect the saddle itself the fittings that came with it were not very good quality.
Quality: The quality is what you would expect for a $200 saddle. Some of the leather is nice, and some of it isn't. The stitching was all good. The billets are all nylon backed and it's very hard to move the buckle gaurd on them.
Summary: Overall I think it's an alright saddle if you just plan on dabbling in dressage or just need an extra saddle around.
