Purchase: I needed a new bridle since the only one I owned rubbed and was a cheap $20 one. I wanted an upgrade for showing and riding. My trainer and a few people at my barn suggested Bobby's bridles, since the leather is butter soft. I went to the tack shop and ordered one for around $240.
Likes: I love everything about this bridle! As soon as it shipped into the tack shop, it felt so soft with out any oil! Once I took it home, I oiled it periodically and it soaked up every drop. Even the unpadded bridle is padded a little bit on the noseband and brow band! Once it is oiled up, the bridle was butter soft! Plus, the fancy stitching is just breath taking along the brow and noseband and the reins even have stitching on them! From the other bridles at my barn, they seem to hold up a long time too.
Dislikes: There is nothing really. The bridle new may seem a bit light and orangey (the lighter color looks more orange than the darker one), but once you oil it a few times it really darkens up to a beautiful brown color.
Quality: The leather is strong and buttery soft! It feels so expensive and is a great deal for its price! The padding is soft, the reins are very flexible, and I could just touch the bridle all day!
Summary: Overall, this bridle is a steal at its price! I bet on Ebay they come even cheaper. The leather is soft and flexible, the stitching is gorgeous, and it takes oil great! I would most definitely recommend this bridle to everyone! It's the best quality I have ever seen!
