Purchase: I got this Bit for $25.00 from Greenhawk on Vancouver Island.
Likes: I like this bit, I got this for my mare, who originally chewed my rubber bit to pieces, so I switched her to this bit cause I didn't want the nutcracker effect.
Dislikes: The only thing I don't like about this bit is that the bars aren't very curved to conform to the horse's mouth, but if you want a bit with a little more bite to it, then this might be okay. I tried it on my horse and she liked it. She likes the middle link to play with.
Quality: Good construction, nothing to complain about.
Summary: I would suggest this bit to somebody wanting a Hunter bit, very horse friendly bit but with a little bite to it.
