Purchase: I purchased this pad on sale at Dover Saddlery for $169.90 plus shipping. I was looking for something soft for my body clipped thoroughbred that I could use for shows.
Likes: It was super soft and looked to be great quality, that's about it.
Dislikes: Did NOT fit my saddle or my horse! This pad was too short for my Collegiate 17" Seat saddle and the bulk of this pad was insane. It was sooo thick I could not even get my thoroughbred's girth on. It also made my saddle sit very "elevated" on my horse's back making close contact impossible.
Quality: Again, it looked to be very well made... But I sent it back so who knows if it would have held up over time?
Summary: Do not buy this pad UNLESS you have lots of extra room under your saddle. It will not work with half pads, riser pads, etc. This would make a great filler pad for a saddle that's too wide.
