Purchase: I bought this saddle from horse.com for $299.99. I wanted a lighter trail saddle that was comfortable, fit my wide mustang, and would hold up to frequent use. My version does not have the memory foam seat.
Likes: I love this saddle! It is nice and light (18 lbs), fits my wide mustang perfectly (in the wide tree model) and is very comfortable. I did add a cashel tush cushion for long rides, and after a 4 hour ride my seat bones were not sore at all. I've been through several saddles and this is by far the best. My horse felt so good he wanted to canter all over the place!
Dislikes: My dislikes are minor, but I'll pass them along. The seat size runs kind of small, and if I did it again I'd probably go one saddle size up. The 15" seat is a small 15. And the off-billet is ridiculously long, so I bought a new one (an $8 fix.) The stirrup leathers seem long for the average person. I swapped them for english leathers and irons (I just prefer them) and it works perfectly like that, too.
Quality: The saddle seems of a very nice quality, all seams sturdy, and I firmly believe to will last for quite some time.
Summary: I went through a lot of saddles to find a perfect trail saddle that was secure, light, comfortable, well-made, and made to fit a horse well. I could not be happier! This saddle is wonderful!
