Purchase: I purchased this saddle off their website. What I wanted was not in stock so they built it for me. I asked for a couple extra things, i.e. crupper ring and they gladly accomadated me.
I paid $740 with shipping.
Likes: It is a nice heavy leather saddle with excellent tooling. Even though I bought the Hard Seat, it is very comfortable for me.
Dislikes: The stirrup leathers are too short for me ( I'm 6'2") I need probably 2 more holes in each. They are probably just fine for a peson 6 foot or less.
The holes in the leathers for the Blevin buckles are too big, much bigger than the posts on the buckles. So under pressure the post slip out and the stirrup falls off.
Quality: The cantle and pommel show a few small bumps and ridges under the leather. The maker didn't take the time to smooth out. Good quality leather, Well tooled. Good stitching. Synthetic fleece.
Summary: It fit my horse well. I liked the seat but the short stirrups hurt my knees so I sold the saddle. If the saddle was offered with longer stirup leathers, I'd consider it again.
