Purchase: I bought these online at Adams Horse Supply for $25.
Likes: These boots look nice, and they really do not turn at all. The velcro straps hold tight even galloping through water and mud. They were also very reasonable priced. They fit my horse really well, and have held up well.
Dislikes: After using these boots for several days in a row, my horse did develop small runs on his pasterns. Since then I've made a point to not use the boots all the time, and I have not had a problem since.
They also tend to accumulate mud inside by the no-turn knob, which I think may have contributed to the rubbing.
These boots are not that easy to clean. The fabric seems to soak up mud, and retain it, so you cannot just spray them off and be done.
Quality: These boots are well made and have held up well for me. However, I do not use these boots all the time and my horse does not tend to over reach and does not wear hind shoes. The material is strong, but I'm not sure how well these boots would hold up to daily use or use on a horse that does over reach.
Summary: These are good bell boots for occasional use. I would not recommend them for a horse that needs to wear bell boots all the time, because they accumulate mud and caused rubs on my horse.
