Purchase: I needed a saddle that wouldn't break the bank as far as cost goes, but one that is also versatile. I got this saddle from Charlotte's Saddlery (website) for $1,035 and it was worth every penny! Charlotte's was also wonderful about everything, and their prices are excellent on all sorts of tack.
Likes: The whole saddle is made of the same butter-soft leather, so it is very grippy, tactile, and soft everywhere, and you butt melts right into the comfortable seat. This saddle definitely keeps you in your seat, I've been on bucky/silly horses while using this saddle, and you barely move an inch while your horse is going nuts beneath you! I have ridden dressage and jumping with this saddle and it does perfect with any type of riding. I would recommend it to anyone with any type of horse in any field of riding. Just an AMAZING saddle! ^_^
Dislikes: I love everything about this saddle, there is nothing I dislike at all!
Quality: This saddle is of superior quality. The leather is butter soft and doesn't even have to be oiled, with the exception of the billets, which are a bit stiff at first but that's to be expected. 3 treatments of neatsfoot oil on those softened them right up. The velcro knee roll inserts are great for eventing if you need to switch from a more padded knee roll to a flatter one, and the seat is deep enough to be able to stand dressage and flatwork, yet places you in a wonderful jumping position as well. It is amazing and versatile, and it is the only saddle I would ever give an 100% quality to.
Summary: Buy this saddle now, it is simply wonderful, and there is not a better saddle out there!
