Dressage Saddles
Manufacturer: Wintec
Model: 500 Dressage
Category: Dressage Saddles
Purchase: Bought it from a local tack shop for around $500 a few years ago.
Likes: I like that it's synthetic and easy to care for. The Easy Change Gullet System is very nice, especially if you have multiple horses.
Dislikes: It's not built quite right. When sitting on the horse, the flaps point kind of forward instead of straight down. It looks awkward and can interfere with the shoulder. I tried different gullets and saddle pads, but none really helped. The seat and flaps are also fairly slippery. It looks like they may have fixed these problems in the new models.
Quality: The synthetic material is very durable and I've have not had any problems with wear or breakage.
Summary: I don't really like this saddle because of the angle of the flaps and the slipperiness of the seat. I think that the new models have probably fixed both these problems with a straighter flap and the addition of equisuede.
