Purchase: Bought it from Equestriancollections.com for $120. My trainer had these chaps and really liked them, and they look more like traditional tall boots than regular clunky half chaps.
Likes: Fit it great, doesn't have any sag like some chaps do. Leather quality is very good too, and I love the look. My chaps get a lot of abuse, and a pair typically only lasts me a year (even other Ariat models), but I have had these for almost a year now and they still are in excellent condition. They are expensive, but if it means I don't have to buy new chaps as often then the investment pays off.
Dislikes: The snaps have a tendency to break. The snaps Ariat puts on their chaps are too hard to get off, and every pair of chaps I've had from them at least one snap has become separated from the leather. I'm stuck with an annoying piece of leather flapping around until I cut it off. For these chaps that strap at the top really helped keep the zipper up, so it breaking really was irritating.
Quality: Excellent, except the snaps need to be improved!
Summary: Love the chaps, will buy them again when the time comes!
