Purchase: I purchased these riding shoes on September 22, 2009. I have been looking for a good pair of riding tennis shoes which I prefer over regular paddock boots. I had a pair of Ariats that I totally loved, but they were discontinued. So I went on a search for a new shoe. I found these online and paid around $50.00 for a pair.
Likes: Even before I purchased them I was not to sure about them. I did not like the fact that they had a zipper and I did not know anyone who had this brand of boots before. The only thing I really liked about them was the fact that they were more of a tennis shoe than paddock boot.
Dislikes: I liked them when they came. They fit fine and were comfortable to wear. I still did not like the whole zipper thing but decided to give them a try. Now, after only having them for 5 months, they are falling apart. After the first month or so, the zippers started unzipping every time I wore the boots which was just about every day. Now the seams are starting to come apart and both zippers don't stay up for more than a few minutes.
Quality: I am very disappointed in these boots. The quality is just not there. I have had riding tennis shoes before and have had them last for 4 or 5 years, not 4 or 5 months! I have even thrown my Ariats in the washing machine to clean them and they still lasted for over 4 years. The Dublin boots have holes, ripped seams and the zippers are a total joke.
Summary: I would not suggest these to anybody. I have had crappy $7.00 shoes from Wal-Mart last longer. I have been trying to find a website for the manufacturer to let them know my experience with them but have not found it yet. The Bottom Line: avoid them!!
