Purchase: Bought this bridle from Dover Saddlery on sale for $80 (coupon in sale catalog).
Likes: The leather is decent (considering the price), especially after being conditioned a few times. I love the reins that came with the bridle.
Dislikes: My horse is a 17hh warmblood with a fairly large head. Every bridle/halter I have purchased for her has been over sized, so I didn't question ordering that size in this bridle. I had to punch 2 holes in everything! (Flash, noseband, cheek pieces, and throat latch...) Luckily there was room to do so.
Also, because it is so big, the end of the jawband sticks out and interferes with my bit.
Quality: You get what you pay for, but overall good quality. As stated previously, with a few good conditionings, it gets much more supple.
Summary: Good bridle, definitely worth the price. Sizing is questionable, probably would have exchanged it for a full size if I could have.
