Purchase: I paid 180.00 for this from County Saddlery when I was trying saddles.
Likes: I like it's protective qualities
Dislikes: I wish it would stay centered in the center of the saddle. It shifts around and by the end of my ride it ends off to one side or the other which defeats the purpose of keeping the gullet free. I will probably purchase one without the fleece which I hope will work. I believe it is the fleece that is too slippery with my 15.3 hand Thoroughbred with one shoulder different size than the other.
Quality: It is well made and quality construction; the fleece is too thick possibly.
Summary: My horse is 17 yrs old; gelding with a bad back & cold-backed. I have been seeking a saddle and pad that works for him and me. I have yet to find either one after spending much money. This has been discouraging although I do not want to give up on this quest as he's a great horse; just want him to be comfortable! The best I've found so far are Back-On-Track Saddle Pads which he likes better too. I would like to try the Thin-Line / Back on Track Pad but it is too cost prohibitive :(.
