Purchase: I bought this girth online from Stateline Tack. I paid $59.99 for it - I wanted an affordable anatomically correct girth with double-sided elastic.
Likes: I really love what you get for the price you pay, the elastic is great quality and the color overall is nice. The padding is also very nice, my horse is quite sensitive and he was completely happy upon first use - I hadn't even oiled it.
Dislikes: The metal they use for the roller buckles looks a bit rough. Also the glaze/seal that was brushed over the leather could have been better.
Quality: It is put together well, however the quality of materials used is not high end at all, which is why the girth is priced accordingly. The leather is a bit rough, yet on the inside padded part it's soft and comfortable for the horse. The center D-ring is stitched on with webbing and not leather. The elastic is very good quality and a very nice color.
Summary: This girth is worth the money you pay for it, it might not be show quality but it definitely serves its purpose as an anatomically correct girth for schooling at home.
