Purchase: I purchased my pair of Men's 9 boots from a local tack store for around $300 (slightly less than MRSP).
Likes: These boots are constructed of thick, quality leather that breaks in quickly (5-10 rides). The stitching is well done. I particularly enjoy the full-back zipper and Velcro closure at the top of the boot. The elastic gusset also improves the comfort of these boots. Incredibly comfortable to walk around in!
Dislikes: I have been riding in these boots for 3 months without the coordinating stirrup pads (designed to complete the Stirrup Control System). With this set-up, the extra sole bulk under the ball of the foot increases the chance of losing your stirrup when you really sink your heels down. I have ordered the pads recently and hope that this will improve my ride.
Quality: Excellent quality materials, nice stitching, heavy-duty YKK zipper.
Summary: Overall very nice boots! I would definitely recommend them to other jumper/eventing riders.
