Purchase: I acquired my saddle from Rick's Heritage Saddlery in Pennsylvania, for 500 in closeout.
Likes: It is two toned and made of argentian leather. Its super comfortable at 17.5" (I am 5'5 but mostly leg) It fits my horse (med tree) very nicely and has a long flap. for those of us with longer legs!
Dislikes: the leather color wears under the stirrup leathers, but comes back with conditioning. It needs a lot of oil at first, pretty dry leather billets. The billets are shorter than i am used to as well.
Quality: Its constructed very nicely, and the quality is GREAT for the price...Needs oil pretty frequently.
Summary: I think its a great saddle for the price and would recommend it to anyone! There is NOT alot of information out there about Trainer's but I LOVE MINE!
