Purchase: I have 2 horses with very different shape backs; I bought the dressage and jumping saddles. $1,900 approx. In 2000. I have had them 10 years and use them a lot.
Likes: Comfortable. Stable even at speed. I went fox hunting and eventing in my jumping saddle. Don't recommend the dressage style for jumping. Horse hardly notice them, they fit, they stay put and the leather is supple and soft. I'd buy another over a tree'd saddle. My horse was the only one who did not buck on landing down the intermediate drops on cross county: something she had never ever tried and she just glided right off the bank as if she'd done it a million times. Everyone else objected to the points on their saddle/s.
Dislikes: The dressage saddle will slip on a hard shy or a 'western style' roll back turn; also, the stirrup leather sometimes comes off when doing up the girth.
Quality: Well made. 10 years old and worn in. Comfortable; quality leather.
Summary: Great concept, innovative and solved my fitting trouble. I can mount the horse off the ground (she is 16.2 and I am 5.11). The horses' backs are developed through the trapezius. I'd buy another. I like the new more modern styling better: seems more along the lines of conventional saddles. What we are used to.
