Momentum
Close Contact Saddles
Manufacturer: Bates
Model: Momentum
Category: Close Contact Saddles
Purchase: Purchased my Bates Momentum off the internet for $1500. I was looking for a nice eventing saddle, with the tree flexibility that allowed purchase from the internet to make sense.
Likes: Well made. Soft leather seat. Reasonable balance. adjustable knee blocks are great.
Dislikes: I have been riding in a passier mono-flap and it has taken some adjustment to the Bates dual flap. I think it would be great if they introduced a mono-flap saddle.
Quality: overall great quality and finishing work.
Summary: This is a nice, quality saddle that does its job. I prefer the mono-flap style saddle, but aside from not being mono-flap, I have no real issues. i do 3 day eventing, and this addle works well for the novice/training level of competitioin.
