Purchase: I am extremely please with this saddle. Bought one used, from someone, because they said it made her horse's back sore. Well she was riding it on a horse that needed a semi-quarter horse bars, and this saddle is made for a horse that needs a Full Quarter Horse Bar-DUUHH-I thought... as I had not heard that it could make a horses back sore. But not the case here- It is a very balanced saddle, and runs a tiny bit big. My 14" measured closer to 14.5", but due to the high cantle and wide swells, it fit me perfect. Rides similar to an Ammerman, and fits a stocky type quarter horse perfectly. Super cute tiny skirt, and very light saddle. Construction was the typical sturdy Double J, and deep tooling on a quality leather. Looks like it will keep a long time. **note: would not try to fit this on a horse that is built narrow in the front, as that, my friend will make their backs sore. Otherwise awesome well made saddle!
Likes: Stirrups seemed to be rigged better that some saddles.. they seem to keep feet in right position during the turn... very comfortable, wide swells, deep seat
Dislikes: Wish they made this saddle in a regular quarter horse bar, and a semi- so everyone could have enjoyed it
Quality: Highest of quality.. like the old-timey circle y, Very deep tooling.
Summary: Awesome saddle, just needs to be fitted to Stockier horse, and fits great!!
