Purchase: I purchased this turnout sheet from the Smarkpak catalog for around $120 plus shipping. I had to replace my mare's old turnout sheet, which was four years old and had worn out.
Likes: This is a lovely piece of horse clothing with quality features that seems to fit very well. It is made with quality materials and workmanship such as stainless steel hardware, clip and dee chest closures, durable nylon straps, and heavy thread with tight stitching. My mare has worn it for three months now and there are no snags, tears or scuffs (just a little dirt!)It fits well with an adequately long drop and room in the chest.
Dislikes: I would like velcro on the chest closures, however, even without the velcro, the sheet overlaps nicely at my mare's chest and the clip and dee fasteners have prevented any gaping. I would also like a bigger, wider tail flap.
Quality: See above - it seems to be a high quality piece of horse clothing.
Summary: I would not hesitate to recommend this sheet. It's well made for durability and good fit.
