Purchase: I ordered these from Dover Saddlery online for a sale price of $7.90. I always wanted to try these socks as I heard good things about them and my regular wool socks were getting too thick and causing pain while riding. I had always thought they were too expensive for lycra socks, but I bit the bullet and bought them anyway just to see what they were about :)
Likes: I love how easy they make it to put your boots on/zip up your chaps. Sooo nice compared to my wool/regular socks. They haven't torn at the toes yet (I have long big toe that usually causes holes in other socks). They are so stylish and I like the way they "hug" my calves.
Dislikes: The price is a bit out there for what they are and that's all.
Quality: These socks are made of stretchy lycra and have many cool designs/colors to choose from. They are a one size fits all for adults and usually cost around $6-8 give or take. I got the pink plaid design and they look great with whatever breech/shirt ensemble I choose to wear that day. So far the material hasn't worn out which is impressive and I am HARD on my socks! They are long and grip your calves and are very comfortable. The ones I got were the regulars (without the Coolmax material). For now, I only have one pair, but when I have more money to spend, I'll surely buy more!
Summary: I will happily buy these zocks again. Happy with my purchase and look forward to picking out more fun designs! :))
