Purchase: I ordered two of these pads online from Dover Saddlery for $16.90 on sale. I had just bought an all purpose saddle that fits both my horses and the dressage pad would not do due to it being too long and awkward for this all purpose saddle.
Likes: These pads are NICE! They cushion and grip the horses and stay cool throughout our rides. They are reversible and come in fun colors. They also seem to "lift up/back" automatically to allow air flow between the saddle and the horse's back.
Dislikes: Nothing!
Quality: These pads are made out of cotton thick pillow like material and seem to be filled with down feathers. It says on the description that no supplemental pads are needed when using this pad, but it may go on an individual horse basis. They come in cool fun colors that are reversible so you can change up your look easily. They are machine washable and line dry. I got the maroon/baby pink and navy/hunter green pads for my two. They do not have any billet keepers, but I'm fine with that because they just seem to get into the way from past experience. The pad stays put if your saddle fits correctly.
Summary: I have a feeling these pads will last me a long time and am very pleased with them.
