Purchase: I bought this Saddle Used on Ebay for about $150- it is probably about 20 years old.
Likes: I like this saddle because it is very comfortable, the seat is nice and soft. It fits my Morab's wide withers perfectly. He is a bit hard to fit for a saddle, he seems to be right between Medium and Wide so it was super nice to find a saddle that fits both of us!
Dislikes: I don't have anything I particularly dislike about the saddle, I am super glad I bought it!
Quality: Obviously since it is an older saddle there is some wear on the leather, however for it's age it still looks very nice. There is a tiny tear in the seat (it looks as though it got poked with something sharp) but other then that the leather is in great condition (some discoloration, as it is a light colored saddle) The billets were replaced by the previous owner. The stitching is totally intact though out the saddle.
Summary: For anyone looking for a comfy used saddle for a great price I would totally recommend a Pontillo. I have a friend who owned a tack shop in the early 80's and he remembers selling tons of these saddles back then.
