Purchase: I purchased these boots through a local agent. The agend then custom ordered the boots directly from Vogel. I paid in total over $1000.
Likes: The leather used for the boots is very nice.
Dislikes: They took nearly 6 months to receive. Then they did not fit. They have been sent back a total of 9 times so far and still do not fit. The customer service is terrible and they are not very willing to work with me. I am going on my third year and I still do not have a pair of boots that I can wear to shows. Luckily my 15 year old pair of Dehners still work. I asked for a refund after sending the boots back for the 6th time and was told that they do not do refunds. Other people at my barn are now going through the same problems with their custom Vogels. I would suggest going elsewhere.
Quality: The boot leather is top quality. The stitching looks nice. The fit is horrible. I have been remeasured 5 times, with no changes to my measurements but Vogel still can not get the boots to fit properly.
Summary: Bottom line. Order Dehners or any other brand boots. The Vogels look nice but do not fit and getting them to fit is a nightmare. Go elsewhere.
